Updating a Repository Email Alias

Yetto creates a unique email address for each connected repository to directly send and receive emails to and from GitHub issues, based on the repository name and GitHub account name, such as [repository]@[acccount].yettoapp.com. You can change an email alias on the Repository Settings page at any time.

Yetto uses a repository's email alias for internal routing, so each repository must have a unique email alias.

Warning: If you change your repository's email alias, you must reconfigure email forwarding to the new email address or email will not route correctly from your inbox to your Yetto-configured GitHub repository.

  1. Go to the Yetto Settings page.

  2. On the Settings page, click Repository Settings.

  3. Scroll to the section for the applicable repository. In the "Email" field, type the new email alias for this repository.

  4. Click Update.

  5. Reconfigure email forwarding with your email provider.
